I have this table for 7 years in the Florida sun and it has held up beautifully which is unbelievable. That table is sturdy and well made. If I ever have to replace it you bet I will look for the same table. Made to last!

My children bought the rocking chair and small side table for my birthday. The year they did this was 2009. This rocking chair sat out in the California sun until I moved to Florida 2019 and of course sitting in the Florida sun now and it still looks new. No cracks, no weakness and does clean well. Very nice, good quality... but small. Really a snack table more than dining. The 48" is too large for our spot. Wish there was a medium size such as 42" diameter.

Q: What is the width of the base? Is there enough room for an average size umbrella stand to fit between the legs?

A: Hello Amy, Our umbrella base is round and tapered and is a total of 19.3 inches across. For some tables, it will need to be under the feet of the table slightly. Thanks so much for reaching out to us!
The distance between the feet is about 15", but the umbrella base we include with our umbrellas is about 19" in diameter. It works because it's thin enough at the edge to slip under the arches of the feet.
So you can look for an umbrella base that's about the same size, as long as it is less than 2" tall at the outer edges.

The Monterey Bay Round 36" Dining Table is at 29" in height. This will allow for many comfortable meals either outside or indoors. There are a few here at our facility we use and they work great!

You can sit four chairs around this table. However, it can be tight. If you would like to purchase this specific table with four chairs, I recommend pairing it with side chairs instead of arm chairs. If you would like a table with a little but more room the 48" round table would fit 4 arm chairs comfortably.
