Good stand

Good base but it did toppled over in a gust of wind. Not sure you can avoid that unless you get one that’s 75 - 100 lbs, but that would be difficult to maneuver. Overall good product.

Very heavy and attractive base will never tip over, even in the toughest winds. The crank/tilt functionality is excellent. We love the Sunbrella canopy, too. Great umbrella!

Once you buy a Trex umbrella, you won’t buy any other brand.

This is the perfect patio umbrella with a substantial base. So easy to operate. Color is beautiful and it is made with top grade material which makes a huge difference.

Q: Does the white base / stand match with the textured silver in the Surf City collection? It seems like there is bronze bases for both Surf CIty and the umbrella, but not silver..

You're correct, we don't have a silver umbrella frame/base option available. I think the white would work really well with the Surf City items that have the silver finish for the frames. it would help keep the look more monochromatic than choosing the umbrella and base in bronze.

While the lumber will not get hot enough to burn you or to not be enjoyable, the darker colors may get warmer than the lighter colors such as Classic White or Sand Castle. If you're concerned about the lumber being too warm, I would suggest looking into the cushions that pair with the Monterey Bay dining chairs. I've attached the seat cushion option for you to consider.
